Description
During cooling in cold rooms, the air pressure inside the room becomes lower than the ambient outside temperature, which makes opening the door difficult and also makes the room's panel structure susceptible to mechanical faults. These compensation valves automatically equalize the internal and external pressures. In order to prevent freezing, they are equipped with a heater.
To calculate the recommended number of valves, use the following formula:
Number of valves = (1.3 * V ) / ( T * (273+t) ) where:
V = volume of the cold-room (m³)
T = time necessary for a 1°C temperature change in the cold-room
t = cold-room temperature (°C)
